 What are AAI?

Animal Assisted Interventions (AAI) are activities focused on education or health in which the presence of the animal enhances learning and cognitive development, it also increases the therapeutic effectiveness of the many therapies (psychology, speech therapy , physiotherapy, occupational therapy and others).

The presence of the animal significantly increases the acceptance of the patient to the techniques used in the many therapies due to the friendliness and affection provided by the animal and it helps to establish bonds between the professional and the patient, which is essential for the effectiveness of the therapy. Today we have strong scientific evidence to support the benefits of AAI.
